Planitar Completes Sale of Majority Interest to REA Group

REA Group (“REA”) has acquired a 61.5% stake in Planitar Inc. (“Planitar”), an Ontario-based technology company. Planitar is the creator of iGUIDE, a proprietary camera and software platform that applies PLANIX camera systems, advanced LiDAR, 360-degree imagery, and AI capabilities to identify property features and produce 3D virtual tours, floor plans and reliable property measurement data.

iGUIDE is currently used in more than 50 countries. As part of the transaction, iGUIDE will expand its sales and operations to Australia later this year, providing greater support to the Australian real estate market.
