Summer Student Program

Pulse Law’s Summer Student Program gives 2L students a hands-on experience in a multi-faceted corporate practice — working directly with a small team on venture finance, transactions and commercial agreements that matter to companies at various stages.

What to Expect:

As a law student at Pulse Law, you’ll be involved in active client matters from the start — drafting and reviewing corporate documents, supporting early-stage financing transactions, helping founders get their entity structure right, and participating in the calls and meetings that lead to deals closing. Research focuses on the practical issues arising for our clients, and how we can solve them in a way that works for them. You’ll work in-person with our team in Kitchener on real client work, with structured feedback throughout the summer.

Who We’re Looking For:

More than grades or school, we care about genuine curiosity for how businesses are built, agility and flexibility throughout the work process, and writing that is clear and thoughtful. You’d be a strong fit if you are goal-oriented, want to understand how a corporate deal comes together end to end and enjoy a collaborative work environment.

How to Apply:

Please submit your application package including your cover letter, resume, and an unofficial transcript to the ViLaw Portal.
