Saam grew up surrounded by family and friends who were building companies from the ground up, giving him a firsthand appreciation for both the challenges and excitement of launching and scaling a business. That early exposure sparked a lifelong fascination with the ideas and innovation that drive entrepreneurship, shaping a practical, solutions-oriented mindset, one he carried into his legal studies at the University of Ottawa, where he earned his Juris Doctor.

Saam has worked closely with start-ups through all stages of development and provides guidance across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, corporate structuring, and governance. He is committed to helping founders bring clarity and structure to fast-moving and complex processes to ensure that operational and strategic decisions are managed thoughtfully and effectively.

Saam is passionate about working within the start-up community, viewing his role not just as a job, but as an opportunity to support the people and ideas driving technology and innovation.  In every engagement, he keeps in mind that behind every transaction and decision are real people navigating real pressures, and he strives to provide advice that balances business objectives with human impact.

Outside the office, Saam approaches life with the same curiosity, discipline, and passion that he brings to his practice. He enjoys fitness, spending time with family, and indulging his love for cinema by working through the year’s Oscar-nominated films.
